Training and staff development offerings are available through FOSS GIS Academy. These include QGIS, PostGIS, MapServer, GeoDjango and OpenLayers.  gvSIG courses are coming soon. Courses in PostGIS, GeoServer, GeoWebCache, GeoExt and OpenLayers are also available through AfriSpatial’s partnership with OpenGeo.

GIS systems and applications: We can provide the solution you need in any environment — desktop, server, database, web, services or mobile.

Software: We work with QGIS, GRASS, MapServer, GeoServer, PostGIS, OpenLayers, GeoDjango, GeoNetwork and more. We also have 13 years experience with ESRI software and can support a mixed or transition environment.

Interoperability: We can get your systems talking with each other and with all those data formats out there by applying Open Standards.

Migration: We can help you plan and manage migration from proprietary to FOSS GIS.

Consulting: We also offer general GIS services such as data capture, processing, spatial analysis and map production.

Sensor Web Enablement: Do you have sensor data that you need to manage or publish? We offer solutions for standards-based management and interchange of measurements and observations.
